It has pictures of DuBois and several of the surrounding towns and villages. I have read it completely and will add it to my reference library. It is extremely well done and organized; well worth the price.|About the Author|The DuBois Area Historical Society gathered a vast collection of postcards for this book from donations to the society and the use of private collections. The society was founded in 1982 to preserve the treasured history of the area.

Prior to the 1870s, DuBois was a forest settlement with only a handful of families living in the area. John DuBois changed that when he settled in the area and created one of the largest lumber industries in the state. In less than two decades, a thriving town had sprung up.
