The book focuses only on armored wheeled and half-tracked vehicles. It's about two-thirds the size of an Osprey title and 128 pages.

This is advertised as a "Fact File" book. In this case, it means each vehicle|About the Author|Historian and author Alexander Ludeke's main interests are the military and the history of technology. He has an extensive image library, which includes numerous illustrations, a selection of which can be found in his Fact File volumes.

German armored vehicles continue to generate great interest among historians and military vehicle enthusiasts alike. Many of these lightly armored vehicles were used for transporting soldiers and in the provision of medical care.
