The pictures are all black and white and cover areas from Egypt, Iraq, Afghanistan, Africa, etc. This book is excellent for modelers. Don't expect an in depth break down of each AK model although the author get's all of the model numbers (AKM, T|About the Author|Anthony Tucker-Jones is an author and historian.
