"Patton Tank" refers to the M-48 series of vehicles. The M-60 series never officially had a name, but is often lumped into that name. I got caught by that, I should have known better.

The end of WW2 and the early Cold War years saw the need for a more powerful tank than the Sherman and Pershing tanks.
